World of the Unseen: The Faux Color of Pasir Panjang Beach

Pasir Panjang is one of the beach front traditonal villages in the Damai Peninsula of Borneo island. The Pasir Panjang beach is a place for family outing, holiday or vacation. It is around 22 km from Kuching city.

This series of photos were captured at Pasir Panjang beach on a hot afternoon with blue sky and strong sunlight.  A full spectrum converted Olympus E-PL5 camera was used to shoot. As a full spectrum camera allows ultra violet, visible and infrared lights to be captured by the camera’s imaging sensor, specialized filters used for infrared or faux color photography were used to block ultra violet and portion of visible lights.
